York Racing Tips – Day 4
It’s the final day of what has been a fantastic Festival. The main event of the whole week, the Ebor, takes place at 15:40.
Day 4
13:50 – Dark Vision (6/1)
A rock solid horse for the Mark Johnston stable who has won twice this season, including the Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot. The ground and conditions should suit.
14:25 – A Star Above (12/1 EW)
Since being gelded he has won twice and was close to claiming victory at Glorious Goodwood. Could be worth taking a chance on.
15:00 – Safe Voyage (9/2)
He enjoys a quick 7 furlongs and should get that here despite only nine runners. One Master is a big danger.
15:40 – Scarlet Dragon (25/1)
Caused a massive shock at Royal Ascot when winning the Duke Of Edinburgh and with Hollie Doyle back on board he could go close at big odds.
16:10 – Politics (11/2)
He won a decent race at Sandown two weeks ago and with the second and third franking the form since, and the champion jockey on-board, he will take all the beating.
16:40 – Cave Cavalli (6/1)
A course and distance winner, Cape Cavalli comes into this after a disappointing run behind Maydanny at Goodwood but can put that behind him on a track that will suit
17:10 – Live In The Moment (11/2)
Another course and distance winner who will be carrying a featherweight 8 stone, with jockey Georgia Dobie taking a further 3 pounds off. Won’t be far away at the finish.
