Racing Tips – 23rd October – ITV Racing

Here are our racing tips for all the ITV races….

🏇 13:45 – SAMBA DANCER – 7/1

Wasn’t lacking for rhythm in thumping 6L win at Strafford last time out, franking his strong late summer form at Worcester and Uttoxeter.

Could progress again given early success for Fergal O’Brien’s yard.

🏇 14:20 – COOL MIX – 11/1 EW

Every chance of keeping his cool on seasonal debut given eye-catching form when running fresh; consistent type could be bang in the mix here having signed off last spring with an encouraging fifth in the Scottish Grand National (28/1).

🏇 14:55 – STEPNEY CAUSEWAY – 9/4

In with a genuine chance of leaving the fancied Tritonic watching his step on comeback from wind surgery; posted some stunning spring form in juvenile hurdles last term and is very much one to watch under the smart guidance of the Skeltons.

🏇 15:30 – SKY PIRATE – 11/4

Showed swashbuckling form to land a surprise win in the Grand Annual Chase at the Cheltenham Festival last term; should be open to further progress on first showing since that career high with Jonjo O’Neill’s yard currently on a hot streak.

🏇 16:05 – BUTLER’S BRIEF – 10/1 EW

Could serve up a neat win for Alastair Ralph in the penultimate ITV race having hooked a hat-trick of wins back in the spring to make it four successes from last six runs; strong each-way candidate if showing no signs of ring rust.

🏇 14:00 – NOBLE TRUTH – 11/10

Elite performer could throw down a few home truths to his opponents in this Group 3 field having only narrowly been denied in Group 1 company at Longchamp earlier this month; versatile on all types of ground throughout 2021 campaign so expected soft conditions shouldn’t present a problem.

🏇 14:35 – SISKANY – 9/10

Bounced back from two midsummer near misses with a stylish showing at Newmarket on first autumn outing to underline high-class credentials; should continue stellar progress for Charlie Appleby as he turns out alongside tougher company.

🏇 15:15 – BAYSIDE BOY – 5/1

Capable of making waves by wrestling this Group 1 contest away from the hotly-fancied Luxembourg; already has know-how around these parts having notched a narrow win at this venue back in September and a cracking third in the Darley Dewhurst is another sign he could be a major player on first attempt at 1m.

🏇 15:50 – FLAMING RIB – 6/4

Has been in sizzling form of late for Tom Dascombe having bagged a trio of wins at Thirsk, York and Chester earlier this year; also forming a formidable partnership with French jockey Pierre-Louis Jamin who will be looking to make it a fantastic four on the bounce on latest test over 6f.

🏇 16:20 – DAKOTA GOLD – 7/1 EW

Sprint specialist has endured a more subdued 2021 campaign after a smashing six-year-old campaign but this could be fertile territory for a return to winning ways given last victory came here in November 2020. Looked back on song when third in Listed company at Ascot last time out.
