May well be the one to watch in an open-looking contest after two wins over this distance last year and coming from a yard with a fast-growing reputation.

18:25 – Ispolini – 18/5

Looks a big player for William Buick and Charlie Appleby in the day’s Listed race despite fluffing his lines in the Sagaro at Newcastle. Former German St Leger winner.

19:55 – Future King – 8/5

Intriguing newcomer stands every hope of snatching the crown in the day’s penultimate race, as half-sister to the talented Flaming Spear and with Oisin Murphy booked.
