The 2020 Cheltenham Festival starts on Tuesday 10th March at Cheltenham Racecourse.

The Cheltenham Festival is one of the most hotly-anticipated race meetings on the UK horse racing calendar, attracting over 250,000 visitors across the four days of the festival.

The meeting takes place every March at Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire and boasts some of the most highly-prized Grade I races on the circuit, including the Cheltenham Gold Cup, the Champion Hurdle, the Queen Mother Champion Chase and the Stayers’ Hurdle.

The festival is known for its electric atmosphere on raceday, including the famous ‘Cheltenham Roar’ at the first race of the festival.
