Classy operator over the fences this season having posted three wins at Kelso; wasn’t seen to best effect at Musselburgh last month but has been the type to bounce back previously and teams up with long-standing partner Ryan Mania today.
Will be looking to go one better today after a hat-trick of second place finishes since the start of the year; front-running style could be in Brian Hughes’ favour as he bids to close the gap in the Jockey’s Championship.
Smooth operator could be set for a return to winning ways after a middling 2021 campaign; Alan King’s eight-year-old has impressed on two outings at this course and won this race back in 2018.

Consistent performer looks the perfect candidate to scoop this Grade 3 contest having placed in five of last six races; was a winner here back in 2019 and was by no means disgraced when finishing third in the Ultima at the Cheltenham Festival back in March.
Looks intriguing for Lucinda Russell given winter form at Uttoxeter and Musselburgh; late jockey change is the major sticking point as Tom Scudamore takes the ride with regular partner Blair Campbell nursing an injury.
Could put a bold bid in for Nicky Richards after warming up for this race with a stylish win at Carlisle at the back end of February; might be a touch green in this company but not without an each-way chance if he can handle this monster trip.
