The world of boxing was left reeling a fortnight ago as the previously undefeated Anthony Joshua suffered a shock defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr in New York.
Fellow heavyweight Tyson Fury will be looking to avoid a second banana skin for British boxers in the space of a month as he starts out as a red-hot favourite against German challenger Tom Schwarz.

Tyson Fury v Tom Schwarz Big Fight Preview
Following his controversial split-decision draw with Deontay Wilder last December, Fury heads into this fight a man on a mission after controversially missing out on the ultimate career comeback story at the Staples Center.
He starts out as the overwhelming favourite to take the victory (2/55 with Marathonbet) on this weekend, but for all his brash fighting talk, he’ll be aware from Joshua’s brutal dethroning it can take only one off-colour performance to leave your reputation in tatters.
With a lucrative rematch against Wilder in the pipeline for early next year, back Fury to tread carefully in the first few rounds and avoid any self-inflicted errors.
That could mean this fight could go longer than many fans are anticipating – making a Fury victory between rounds 7-9 interesting at 18/5.
Three of Fury’s last six opponents have thrown in the towel and retired at the end of a round. A knockout win, disqualification or retirement (for either fighter) is available at 13/25 with Marathonbet.
Finally could lightning strike twice?
It seems unlikely given Fury’s physical edge and extra hard yards on the elite boxing scene, but the draw is available at 34/1 with Marathonbet if a case of déjà vu strikes for Fury at the MGM Grand.
