A safe but sensible 4-fold accumulator won this week’s Tips for Strips competition as plenty of players were stung by Middlesbrough’s draw with Birmingham.
Scores of you tried your hand at predicting the weekend’s footie results with mixed results.
Some failed miserably with optimistic punts that looked doomed at the first hurdle (like Jason Cummings to score a hat-trick for Hibs when he started on the bench). And others hit the post when correctly predicting a host of scores and selections – only to be let down by Middlesbrough following their 2-2 draw away to Birmingham on Friday night.
We did eventually find a winner, however.
Onat Mansur from Bristol struck lucky when his 19/5 accumulator came out trumps.

Onat, originally from south London but studying at Bristol University, said: “My uni flatmate won Tips 4 Strips a couple of weeks back so I got a bit jealous and wanted to win myself! It was almost like a competition between ourselves.
“I didn’t have much time to enter so I almost picked teams at random. I’d placed a bet on Barca and Hibs -1 a bit earlier on in the day so I knew it was a good shout. With Brighton v Derby I knew it would be a close and tense game for promotion so I thought there’d be few goals. And Bournemouth love a BTTS. I like doing 3/4 teams max as with more than that way too many things can go wrong.”
Onat chose a new England home shirt as his prize – just in time for the Three Lions’ Euro 2016 bid this summer.
The shirt’s in the post, mate! Cracking shout.
