Marathonbet’s Saturday Seven
It’s another massive weekend of sport.
Here are Marathonbet’s seven big questions ahead of another action-packed schedule…
Will Pep and Jurgen go for broke on derby day?
It seems unlikely given both sides still have a crunch Champions League second leg to play on Wednesday night, even with Liverpool holding a commanding 3-0 advantage. The respective fanbases may look at things differently, however.

Who will take the Green Jacket?
Golf’s first major of the season reaches its conclusion on Sunday with several players looking well placed to walk out of the Butler Cabin with the Green Jacket. One player who certainly won’t be making that journey is Sergio Garcia after a disastrous meltdown on the 15th in Round One.
Can Lewis Hamilton bounce back in Bahrain?
Sebastian Vettel stole a march on the British driver in the first race of the season in Melbourne, and Hamilton will be desperate to avoid falling further behind his racing nemesis.

Could this prove the decisive weekend in the relegation battle?
With West Brom all but down, fellow relegation zone dwellers Stoke and Southampton have very tricky looking fixtures to negotiate in the shape of Spurs and Arsenal respectively. With one of Brighton or Huddersfield guaranteed at least a point, and Swansea and Crystal Palace facing two winnable fixtures, the table could have a whole different complexion come Monday morning.

Is Max Whitlock all set for double gold again?
England’s great gymnastics hope on the Gold Coast will be looking to add to his men’s floor and pommel horse gold medals from the Rio Olympics with another triumph in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Will Sunderland’s fate effectively be sealed?
The beleaguered Black Cats thought they had given themselves a lifeline on Good Friday after an emphatic 4-1 away win against Derby but failed to kick on two days later at home to Sheffield Wednesday. This weekend any faint hope of Championship survival may be extinguished for good as they travel to Leeds and nearest rivals Birmingham play host to Burton. If all results go against the Mackems, they could be 11 points adrift with just five to play.

Can Cristiano repeat his antics in the Madrid derby?
Real Madrid currently look in blistering form in the Champions League, and whilst they have experienced a disappointing domestic campaign, fans of Los Blancos will be hoping for a repeat of Ronaldo’s audacious effort against Juventus. With Real in cruise control in that tie, will Zizou be able to resist playing his talisman?
