READY to to hear about some cracking bets from our punters over the last few days?

A host of Marathonbet customers had a Bank Holiday weekend to remember when their big-priced accumulators came up trumps. Nice one lads!

Here’s three of the best…

Liverpool customer strikes lucky with 83/1 six-fold

These kind of bets don’t come off every day of the week, so this Liverpool lad deserves a big pat on the back. Our man stuck £6 on a football six-fold priced at a mega 83/1 that returned more than £500. Phwoarrr!

SPURS to draw with Liverpool, HIBS to beat Greenock, CELTIC to beat Aberdeen, HEARTS to beat Partick Thistle, CRAWLEY to beat Notts County, BARROW to beat Braintree

He needed a good dose of luck on his way to riches, however. Despite the likes of Hibs and Celtic cruising to victory by large margins, another Scottish side threatened to scupper the acca party when heading into the 90th minute at 1-1.

Hearts, who were away to lowly Partick Thistle in the Scottish topflight, struggled to find the net again after opening the scoring in the 16th minute.

And with all other selections on our customer’s six-fold going his way, we suspect he was spitting feathers come injury time at Firhill Stadium. That was until Hearts man Tony Watt scored his first goal for the club in the dying moments of the game.

Watt, who was at risk of being taken off by Hearts gaffer Robbie Neilson, lashed a shot home from a tight angle just moments before the full-time whistle.

Pandemonium in the stands – and probably back home in Liverpool too for our flush punter.

Pukka patent nets London punter more than £800

Here’s where we get a bit fancy pants with a shrewd patent from a customer in the capital.

He turned £70 into more than £800 with a seemingly simple trio of games he thought would end in draws. And he was spot-on!

Crystal Palace to draw with Bournemouth, Spurs to draw with Liverpool, West Brom to draw with Boro

His epic bet started on Saturday lunchtime when Liverpool earned a decent point away to Spurs at White Hart Lane. Later in the 3pm kick off he watched as Palace failed to break the deadlock against Bournemouth at Selhurst Park. All going swimmingly, right? Well, he had to wait more than 24 hours to find out if the last leg of his punt would seal the deal. Imagine the NERVES!

Come Sunday there was little to worry about, however. West Brom and Boro just could not find the net and played out a boring 0-0 draw to the delight of our man in London. He walked away with more than £800 and we reckon a huge smile. Result!

Favourite-backer in seven-heaven with 16/1 footie and racing acca

And finally we’re buzzing to tell you about a wonderful woman from Wigan who landed a 16/1 seven-fold football and horse racing accumulator. She netted more than £750. Lend us a tenner?!

CHELSEA to beat Burnley, MANCHESTER UNITED to beat Hull, DORTMUND to beat Mainz, REAL MADRID to beat Celta Vigo, BARCELONA to beat Athletic Bilbao, CELTIC to beat Aberdeen, PURPLE MAGIC to win the 16:55 at Newmarket

Who says backing favourites is a loser’s game? All it takes is for one short-priced selection to blow bets like these to pieces but luckily all the jollys obliged. There was squeaky bum time in the Real Madrid v Celta game – Los Blancos narrowly winning 2-1 – and Barca also snuck a 1-0 win away to Bilbao. But our lucky customer survived the storm and finished her Bank Holiday weekend in style.

Well done to you – and all our other winners over the past few days. Got an epic winning bet of your own? Shout about it and let us know.
