Jungle fans rejoice! I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here is back and better than ever – and you can now bet on your jungle king or queen with Marathonbet.
Cheeky chappies Ant and Dec host the fun and games Down Under as the likes of Made in Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo and boxer Amir Khan compete for the coveted crown.
We’ve already seen Khan screaming with terror after pulling out a slippery python from a box and Jamie Vardy’s wife Rebekah chomping on a critter sandwich packed with cockroaches, meal-worms, crickets and a whole huntsman spider. The hit ITV show has been a stomach-churning watch so far – but who’s your pick to win the 17th series?
Here’s the lowdown on all this year’s remaining contestants, starting with the reality TV queen herself.
Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo
Pint-sized Made in Chelsea star Georgia is bidding to become the latest queen of the jungle with her infectious charm and up-for-it attitude. She caught the eye of show bosses after appearing in E4’s Celebs Go Dating earlier this year and made viewers squirm when eating a host of disgusting jungle delicacies in an eating challenge.
The Hollyoaks heartthrob recently left the show for a third time, where he thrilled fans as murdering villain Warren Fox for a hefty 11 years. He reckons the hardest part of the jungle will be missing his kids – but thinks they’ll appreciate finally not seeing him play a baddie on the box!
The father of Tory politician Boris, Stanley is the eldest member of this year’s cast but isn’t lacking on the personality front. The former MEP has taken a father-figure role amongst the campmates.
Fondly known as Fiz from TV’s Coronation Street, ITV chiefs reportedly begged her to join the jungle show for years in hope she’d prove a big hit with Corrie fanatics. Her beaming smile and positive attitude is a trademark.
The Bolton-born former light-welterweight world champion is rumoured to be the highest paid star on this year’s series of I’m A Celeb. He’s already proven to be TV gold after screaming like a baby when pulling a snake from a box during a bushtucker trial and is winning over fans of the show as each episode passes.
Comedian Lee launched his career doing stand-up in London and has hosted an array of TV shows. He’s currently the man behind talkRADIO’s The Late Night Alternative show and won viewers’ sympathy when failing to crack a swimming-themed bushtucker trial.
The wife of Leicester City and England hitman Jamie, Rebekah revealed she wants to show the world she is her own independent woman. She excelled in the eating challenge, where she and Toff were forced to munch their way through a host of vile treats including fish eyes and lamb’s backside!
Iranian-born comic Shappi, 44, is a stand-up who boasts regular shows including Live at the Apollo. She’s already had campmates laughing and has forged a friendship with Jennie.
Pop star Vanessa enjoyed huge chart success with British girl group The Saturdays and heads into the jungle looking for love after recently splitting from her long-term boyfriend.
Former Chelsea hardman Dennis is a footballing legend in south west London. Now he’s hoping his cheeky smile and charm could see him taste success in the Aussie jungle. Famed for his no-nonsense tackling, Dennis is yet to be given a chance to prove his toughness in a bushtucker trial.
Politician Kezia is a Labour Member of the Scottish Parliament and former leader of Scottish Labour. She’s also the show’s rank outsider.
