Fantasy Football Analyst – Gameweek 30

With the Fantasy Football season entering its final straight and several teams with something to prove this weekend, Marathonbet are back with some inspired picks to help you make a late charge up your fantasy league table…

Gameweek 30

Martin Dúbravka – £4.5 – Newcastle

The Slovakian is quietly starting to make a real impression on English football following his loan move to the Magpies from Sparta Prague in January. Rafa Benitez has shown already this season how well he can marshal his somewhat limited Newcastle side, and Dúbravka could be in for a quiet day at the office playing at home against a Saints side with only one win in 16 games.

Gylfi Sigurdsson – £8.0 – Everton

The pressure is starting to build on Big Sam from the Goodison Park faithful after a string of disappointing performances. As one of the Premier League’s most experienced managers, he will be only too aware of the importance of grinding out a much-needed victory against in-form Brighton to keep the home fans happy. The Icelandic international is just the type of player who the Toffees can call upon to unlock a stubborn Seagulls defence with one moment of inspiration.

Rajiv Van La Parra – £4.8 – Huddersfield

With David Wagner’s side still looking nervously over their shoulders, every remaining home game will feel like a Cup Final at the John Smith’s Stadium. They face a tough test this weekend against Carlos Carvahal’s revitalised Swans. On paper, despite Swansea’s upturn in fortunes, Wagner will still be targeting a vital three points from this game, and the electric pace of Van La Parra down the wing could be crucial in achieving that objective.

Marko Arnautović – £7.0 – West Ham

The Hammers will be desperate for a change in fortune after back-to-back 4-1 defeats, and a home tie against a Burnley side with one eye on the beach after reaching 40 points offers David Moyes the perfect opportunity to kickstart their season. He may blow hot and cold, but Marko Arnautović has been the difference in many of West Ham’s key victories the season, and an inspired performance from the Austrian seems overdue after a subdued couple of weeks.

Harry Kane – £12.9 – Tottenham

Kane may be a safe choice for any Fantasy side, but after the agonising defeat to Juventus in the Champions League in midweek, the 24-year-old will be chomping at the bit to make amends as his side head away to Bournemouth. Thankfully for the Spurs frontman, the Cherries defence are always liable to present a ruthless predator like Kane a golden opportunity to help him continue his quest for the Golden Boot.
