ONE lucky Marathonbet customer pocketed more than £1,000 over the Easter break from a superb Football League/Non-League accumulator. Cracking!

Like others before him, our man from Bristol reckoned the host of international friendlies in recent days was far too boring. That’s probably why he stuck £14.61 on an ambitious six-team acca on Monday that saw him scoop a cool £1,126.

Our flush punter needed Wigan to beat Rochdale, Gillingham to beat Bury, Accrington Stanley to beat Newport, Plymouth to beat York and the mighty Hampton & Richmond to beat Leatherhead – plus Mansfield Town and Northampton Town to draw – to land his huge 77/1 punt.

And what happened? They all won, of course. Happy Easter, son! Choccy eggs on you.

Wigan v Rochdale – WIGAN TO WIN @ 1.772
Bury v Gillingham – GILLINGHAM TO WIN @ 2.70
Mansfield v Northampton – DRAW @ 3.40
Newport County v Accrington Stanley – ACCRINGTON TO WIN @ 2.24
Plymouth v York – PLYMOUTH TO WIN @ 1.55
Hampton and Richmond Borough v Leatherhead – HAMPTON TO WIN @ 1.40
£14.61 returned £1,126.06

But our clever clogs acca-winner wasn’t the only customer celebrating a memorable Easter break.

A shrewd horse racing customer from London bagged £3,355 from a £5 patent (£35 total stake) when three of his nags romped home at Haydock on Saturday. He backed Ballybolley (6.00), Petethepear (8.50) and No Duffer (9.00) to all win their respective races at the Merseyside course.

The epic bet left the Marathonbet number-crunchers shell-shocked. Alright, alright. We’ll stop.

Congratulations to all our big winners in recent days. Got a brilliant punting tale of your own? Let us know over Facebook, Twitter or the comments section below.
